Lessons straight from the Guidette's Mouth

Throwing caution to the wind and sacrificing any hope of sounding intelligent while respecting my Italian roots, I'm going to officially suggest you read "The Rules According to J-Woww".

{I loved the book and it took about an hour to read}

Now, lower your pitchforks and let me explain why. Beneath the GHASTLY sl*tty school girl ensemble, the horrible pleather, the gangly extensions, the fame built on having drunken s*x with people she just met- is a girl who knows who she is. She knows exactly who she is. And with that, comes knowing what she deserves.

Sure the book is written poorly and it parallels taboo experiences to make a grandiose point but really, the point gets made. And the clear message is to not take sh*t from people who treat you like sh*t. If you respect yourself, you'll gain respect in return.

via

So commit a small pool of time to check out what she has to say (I checked it out from the Library and read it in one gym workout: easy-peasy) and reap the value that lies within: stand up for what you deserve.

As you were...

You crack me up! I am glad there is a moral to her story. What I would REALLY like to know is how you are able to read while working out? I WISH I could. WHat is your secret??

I already watch Jersey Shore, I might as well start reading their books, too.

I read that book when it was first released, and I'm not going to lie...I loved it. J-Woww is quite the genius when it comes to certain topics. Highly recommended! :)

Remember Tom Lippolis? JWows ex b/f? I know him and his entire family. The Jwow that you see on TV is not how she is in real life.

I actually like her the most out of all the other characters. She's the one that always has everyone's back and takes no crap. I can see you getting that message from her book. If it's that quick of a read, I'll check it out. :) lol

P.S. Love your hair!!!

hahah I also read this book when it first came out and highly enjoyed it! I thought it was hypocritical at times, but respected that she is who she is and doesn't pretend to be anyone else.

Glad you saw past the garbage and found a positive message in the book despite it all Miss Caitlin.

Funny how that works sometimes.

I haven't ever watched the show or read any of their books but I am sure it would be an interesting read - to say the least!

I think I'm going to have to go get a library card. I'm not going to be buying books any more.

Yeah, how do read & work out? I like her, however the Italy season, she looked like a crack whore, saw last week's episode, she looks like her self again. I see Snookie's book at Walmart, always want to get it, but don't. I will read this...& don't doubt she's not smart, doesn't she have like four Master degrees?

So if I read you correctly all I need to do is have drunken sex with people I’ve just met, publish a poorly written book and respect myself in the morning and I’ll be forever famous. Sounds like a plan....

you look great! (as always :)

wish you were here to join me for fashion week in nyc! you must come one year so we can go to the shows.

looks like you had fun at this event. And you are right...you have to stand up for yourself or else people will take advantage. Happy Friday!
