Homeless Bling

No matter how hard I try, I am always running out of places to store my jewelery. Though I have a ring holder in the shape of a hand (sometimes the good ideas are right under your nose...) and I have a display rack which holds dozens of necklaces, earrings and bracelets... I still have surplus. This is, of course, due to my ability to go into the mall with 2 dollars and come out with 16 new pieces of bling. As much as that marketing ploy complements my fickle taste, I do feel a bit of resentment that cute items were not this cheap when I was in college and had to outfit myself for numerous themed parties on a Ramen budget... but I digress (nice story Grandma...).

To keep my outfit embellishments in some semblance of order, I've been trying to display it in easy ways with stuff I already have. For instance, bracelets have been filling empty glass vases and flamboyant earrings have been hanging on the back of colorful heels that are anxiously awaiting their Spring debut.

So give me some ideas, how do you deal with your influx of bling?

Ohh I love the way those earings look on the back of the shoes!! And the bangles in a vase isn't a bad look either!!
I'm not much of a jewellery person - I love it on other people but not myself which is why I wear the same silver pieces every day and my 'special' stuff sits in a three drawer jewellery box.. I'm such a girly girl but I fail a little when it comes to bling!

Oh I love the earrings on the back of the shoe idea, my necklaces hang from key hooks at the moment, and everything else lives in boxes under the bed.. there's just no room for it all!

You're asking the wrong girl! lol I have 3 or 4 neckacles I switch up. That's it. Big rings are my thing. I have a bunch of those. But they all live in a very cozy bowl on my nightstand lol

Good luck!

P.S. Love those earrings!

I turn all of my bracelets and necklaces into wall decor. I string them up using cute wall hooks, and they look stunning - especially when the sun hits them and they make prism-like colors on the walls. :)

P.S. LOVE those shoes! :)

I have this problem too, I can never seem to be able to have enough space for my jewelry and it ends up everywhere - my room, my purse, my boyfriends house - frustrating!

I have jewelry, but not enough to overburden my cute little jewelry tree. Nice problem to have, though, and you're finding real cute solutions!

I wish I could help you. SInce i've been blogging god only knows how much i've spent on inexpensive jewelry at F21. I store them in a plastic bag individually and then a giant boot box from ruelala...bad idea because I cannot find anything!

Super cute shoes in the first image. I got a hanging organizer that looks like a bird cage at Urban Outfitters. Check them out!

My name is Sarmin, & I am accessory/jewelry horder! My room is over flowing of accessories, however mostly all of them are hidden. I buy shoe boxes/hat boxed keep them in there (like the pretty design once), also use Fossil watch boxes. & yes, I know where everything is, I can tell you exactly what is inside of any given box. (I am no life!) I have two black tray ring holders, they are over flowing, I need to do something about my rings. I love the earring back of the shoe, that's just cute. & how in hell do you only spend $2 on 16 things? Where are you going? I wanna go there.
